The Centre is currently home to 78 research staff and 83 students from diverse educational disciplines including chemistry, pharmacology, biochemistry, biological sciences and material science.

Staff and students are located across the Centre's five node locations, at the University of Melbourne, the Australian National University, the University of Sydney, the Heart Research Institute, Monash University, and Queensland University of Technology.

Many Centre researchers are undertaking collaborative projects with multiple Chief Investigators across a number of Centre nodes and international locations or along side industry partners.
