Since its inception in 2005, Centre research has resulted in over 180 peer-reviewed journal publications and featured in over 500 conference presentations.

Staff have the opportunity to solve industrially relevant problems and provide research contributing to new materials and technologies.

In the 2008 financial year the Centre attracted over $4.5 million in research funding allowing staff to realise the full potential of their research in line with the Centre themes.

Through its extensive collaborations and strong reputation, the Centre provides staff with opportunities to conduct research at other Centre nodes, domestic or international locations, or with industry partners.

Interested researchers with a strong background in chemistry who can demonstrate excellence in publication history, research training and grant acquisition are encouraged to forward their CV to relevant Centre Chief Investigators or the Centre Director.
