Bluescope Steel
Through this collaboration the Centre aims to:
- Understand how roofing materials respond to oxidative stress;
- Formulate new technology to minimise the effects of free radical damage on the colour, gloss and durability of Colorbond® steel; and
- Develop new methods to detect, quantify and characterise stabilisers (such as hindered amine light stabilisers, HALS) designed to protect the product from free radical damage in paint mixtures.

Centre for Cultural Materials Conservation
Through this collaboration the Centre aims to:
- Examine the effects of free radicals on the performance and permanence of 20th century pigments, dyes, additives and media;
- Develop effective techniques to prevent the growth of moulds, fungi and other organisms on culturally significant artworks; and
- Provide new insight into effective preservation techniques to prevent the deterioration and degradation of 20th century art.

PPG Industries Australia
Through this partnership, the Centre aims to:
- Determine the susceptibility of polymer coatings formulated with infrared-reflective pigmentation to oxidative stress;
- Develop a model to predict the optimal pigmentation formulating practice; and
- Provide recommendations regarding the use of infrared-reflective pigmentation in coatings.

Environmental Biotechnology Co-operative Research Centre
Through this collaboration, the Centre aims to:
- Explore the role of free radicals in biofilm growth and dispersal; and
- Develop new methods and technologies to control biofilms.

Osaka Prefecture University
In 2008, the Centre entered into an exchange agreement with The Graduate School of Science at Osaka Prefecture University (OPU). This agreement allows Centre researchers to utilise technology and expertise in free radical research at OPU that is currently unavailable in Australia.

OPU is home to an internationally significant free radical research group led by Professors Ryu and Matsubara, who are also Associate Investigators of the Centre.

The Rudjer Boskovic Institute
In 2008, the Centre entered into an exchange agreement with the Rudjer Boskovic Institute (RBI). This agreement allows Centre researchers to utilise technology and expertise in computational free radical chemistry located in this Institute that is currently unavailable in Australia.

The RBI is Croatia's largest centre for scientific research with several groups involved in key areas of free radical related research. In particular, the group headed by Dr David Smith possesses expertise in computational free radical chemistry, a key research tool of the Centre.
