    Expertise
    •    Preclinical pharmacology in relation to cardiovascular and antinociceptive drugs.

    Key Areas of Research

    •    Analytical pharmacology for the development of compounds with dual antioxidant and antihypertensive actions on the cardiovascular system.
    •    Development of in vivo assays of cardiovascular inflammation.
    •    Mechanisms of action of drugs interacting with calcium channels, nitric oxide, endothelium derived hyperpolarising factor, vascular endothelial growth factor, endothelin, renin-angiotensin system and cannabinoids.
